Ms. Tice-Wallner is a licensed attorney, and the former managing partner and board chair of a national law firm with more than 700 attorneys and offices throughout the United States. During her tenure, she was responsible for the operation of 28 domestic offices, negotiated and implemented acquisitions and mergers, designed new governance and compensation systems, and expanded the firm internationally. Since launching The Tice-Wallner Group, Ms. Tice-Wallner has worked with firms of various size and focus in formulating strategy, evaluating opportunity, and implementing change. She has also served as an advisor and legal consultant to corporate boards.
Ms. Tice-Wallner has over 30 years of experience in the area of employment law, and has litigated and tried cases in state and federal courts throughout the U.S. Since becoming a neutral, she has handled single and multiple party mediations with a high degree of success and is known for her tenacity and closing skills. She has also worked as a consultant and served as an expert in workplace litigation matters. Ms. Tice-Wallner has been recognized as one of the nation's "Best Litigators in Employment Law", and voted one of the "100 Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business". She is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell for legal ability, professional ethics and conduct.
Ms. Tice-Wallner has served as a member of the San Francisco Bar Association's "No Glass Ceiling" Commission. Her recent public speaking engagements include "Addressing Sexual Orientation Discrimination in the Law Office" and "A Call to Action for More Diversity in Law Firms". She has published numerous articles on the management of professional service firms. Ms. Tice-Wallner attended the Villanova University School of Law and was admitted to practice in California in1979.
